Verkehrsbetriebe Luzern AG (vbl) is the largest public transport company in the town and conurbation of Lucerne. Passengers make more than 47 million trips a year with the vbl. It conveys some 130,000 people a day to and from work and serves major events including the Luga Fair, the Lucerne Festival at the KKL and football matches hosted by FC Luzern.
